This year's SAT and ACT tests went smoothly! For those 11th grade students that missed the test day, make-up days are right around the corner.
ACT Make-up: Tuesday, March 31st. SAT Make-up: Wednesday, April 29th. This is ONLY for 11th grade students. The ACT, SAT and WorkKeys test are replacing the HSGQE test as a graduation requirement. There is no 'cut score' but all students must take one of the three tests by graduation. The district will pay for one of the three tests one time for each student. The tests will be administered at the school. The Youth Litter Patrol will be accepting applications April 1st through the 30th. Interviews will be held May 2nd. 14 and 15 year old students are encouraged to apply. These are five week positions, 8am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The pay is $8.75 per hour.

Senior Class is hosting its annual book drive for the Literacy Council!
Please consider going through your old books and donating them. The class that brings in the most books will get a tasty frozen treat! To that end, the seniors have yet to be beat, they've brought in the most books every year. Can anyone defeat them? Bring in your books and place them in the boxes outside of Mrs. Benson's office! |
